OIB Surf and Java is a wonderful surf shop in Ocean Isle Beach, with a coffee shop in the back. In the front part of the store you will find clothing, jewelry, sunglasses, bathing, and more. The back of the shop is a coffee shop where you can order specialty coffee drinks, teas, and small bakery snacks. The shop has a very inviting and chill feel, making you want to sit in the back and enjoy a cup of joe with your friends, while watching the surf videos on the TVs.

OIB Surf and Java is not your run of the mill surf shop. They are boutique style surf shop, with hand picked items. Their goal is to have a more old fashioned surf shop, where you will find unique products and be able to talk about the surf with the employees and patrons alike. This shop is the type of place you will find both locals and tourist, sitting around enjoying their drinks, talking about the waves, and browsing the items.

OIB Surf and Java also sells surf boards, surf accessories, and local art. This is also the place to take your board to repair any dings. One of the owners of the shop, Jesse McCrery, even shapes and sells his own boards in the shop.
