Free Concert and Movie Series

Looking for something fun to do when in town for vacation? Brunswick County Parks and Rec is proud to present the Free Summer Concert and Movie Series!

Outdoor concerts are all ages, and a great experience for all! Make sure you bring chairs and blankets to sit on! A cooler with drinks and snacks is also a great idea. Some of the locations do have restaurants near by where you can get togo food, but they are often on a large wait due to the popularity of these events. Set up early to ensure a great spot. And don’t forget the bug spray!

Dance the night away while listening to some great local music.  The towns of Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, and Holden Beach are proud to host these concerts weekly in the summer time. Bands vary by week. Click here to see who will be playing when you're in town!

• Sunset Beach Concerts- Wednesday Evenings at 630, at the Village Park on Queen Anne Street ( If you’re looking for a place near by to get togo food, Fibber McGees of Sunset Beach is in the parking lot of the concert. They also have a limited number of outdoor tables. This is a great afterspot for when the concert is over as well. 21 and older after 10pm.)
• Ocean Isle Beach Concerts- Friday Evenings at 630, at the Museum of Coastal Carolina (If you’re looking for a place near by to get togo food, Pelicans Perch is directly across from concert. They have a limited number of outdoor tables, as well as food you can take to go! This is a great afterspot for when the concert is over as well. 21 and older after 10pm)
• Holden Beach Concerts- Sunday Evenings at 630, at the pavilion at the end of Jordan Blvd.

Leland, Shallotte, Southport and Calabash also offer free concerts, but they are not every week as the towns listed above are. Check out the full schedule to see when these events occur.
