Located across from the big ice cream cone, The Tulip Tree Boutique is at 6778 Beach Drive SW in Ocean Isle Beach, halfway between Causeway Drive and the intersection of Highways 904 and 179. It is the newest of Boutiques in the area, and does not disappoint. The sales staff is friendly, and knowledgeable, and will absolutely tell you the truth about whether an outfit works for you. They want you to look amazing in your purchases; word-of-mouth, after all, is the best advertising!

The owner, Robin Putnam, says, “There are wonderful choices for women’s clothing shops in the area, but there was a niche that just wasn’t filled. The Tulip Tree Boutique is a great compliment to the area because we offer brands and styles for women of all ages. In addition, we have an incredible selection of children’s labels. We offer a wide variety of price points, as well. We truly want everyone who comes in to feel as if they have a new favorite shopping destination!”

A few of the women’s lines include Fresh Produce, Vineyard Vines, Splendid, Level 99, Whitewash, Pearl Southern Couture and Southern fRock. “We love to support young designers, and Pearl Southern Couture’s Amber Perley, who will be on NBC’s Fashion Star beginning March 8, and Emily Newnam of Southern fRock are two very inspiring and talented ones.”

In the children’s section, look for le-top, Rabbitmoon, Zutano, Kushies, Stephan Baby, Cotton Kids, Little Linens, and others. Boys’ sizes range from Infant to 4, girls’ sizes from Infant to 14.

Robin invites you to bring your friends and enjoy complimentary wine and cheese on the third Thursday of each month from 5-8pm. “We have special events on Girls’ Night Out, and have become quite popular.
